Wrexham A.F.C. has won the hearts of an American couple, Jeff and Janice Ivy, who have relocated to Wrexham after falling in love with the club and city after watching the Disney+ documentary series Welcome to Wrexham. The couple, who were introduced to the series by Jeff's late brother, a huge English football fan, were captivated by the club's community spirit and warm-hearted community. They began making frequent trips to North Wales, with each visit becoming progressively longer, until Jeff finally retired professionally in December. The couple, who have secured UK citizenship through Jeff's Scottish grandmother, are now enjoying life in Wrexham, with their kids all for the move. Ryan Reynolds, co-owner of Wrexham A.F.C., has welcomed the couple to Wrexham, joking that they didn't watch Chernobyl instead. The club, which has won promotion to the Championship since its takeover, is now eyeing a spot in the Premier League.
