Wrexham A.F.C. has announced that work on the long-awaited Kop Stand redevelopment is continuing positively at the Racecourse Ground. The latest update confirms key structural progress, with staircase works in both cores now completed. Steelwork is advancing across the concourse and mid-terrace sections, while installation of pre-cast terracing has begun and is set to continue over the coming weeks. Ground floor slab works have also recently been finished. The redevelopment of the Kop, once the largest all-standing terrace in English football, is one of the most significant upgrades to the stadium in decades. The new stand is expected to hold around 5,500 supporters and will include safe standing areas, improved accessibility, and modern concourse facilities. Wrexham A.F.C. owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have previously described the Kop's return as central to restoring the atmosphere and heritage of the Racecourse Ground, with the stand having been out of use since 2008. The club is working towards having the stand operational in time for future domestic fixtures, while also preparing the ground to play a role in hosting matches during the UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Supporters can watch the latest drone footage released by the club, showcasing the latest stage of construction and the scale of the redevelopment as it takes shape in the heart of the stadium.
