Wrexham A.F.C. have launched their 2026/27 away kit, a dark anthracite grey shirt with red detailing, ahead of today’s pre-season friendly away to Wisła Kraków in Poland. The new Macron design debuts as the Red Dragons kick off their pre-season campaign in style.
What’s in the new kit?
The 2026/27 away kit features a mandarin collar and sublimated graphics blending the dark base with red lines, inspired by North Wales’ slate quarries. The shirt’s industrial heritage is highlighted by a silicone hem tape reading, “Ein Tir, Ein Hysbryd – Our Ground, Our Spirit”.
On the nape sits Y Ddraig Goch – the Red Dragon – while the Macron hero logo and Wrexham A.F.C. crest appear in striking red silicone print. Front-of-shirt sponsor Firefox and sleeve partner Nex make their debuts on the kit, which is crafted from Macron’s Eco 3D Knit Matrix.
Why does the design matter?
The kit pairs Wrexham’s founding year, 1864, on the back with “Wrexham is the Name” and Macron’s “Designed in Bologna” to mark a decade of partnership with the Italian brand. The dark anthracite grey shorts and socks feature red side panels and a thin red stripe, completing a cohesive look built for the club’s Polish trip.
Manager Phil Parkinson has praised Wisła Kraków’s passionate fanbase ahead of the friendly, calling it a historic club with a real following. Wrexham sit 7th in the Championship with 71 points from 46 games, six points clear of the playoff places and 24 points behind Coventry.
Where can fans buy the kit?
The new 2026/27 away kit is available now from Wrexham A.F.C.’s official store. The club has scored 69 goals and conceded 65 this season, holding a +4 goal difference as they chase a top-six finish.
Wrexham’s recent form stands at two losses followed by a win and another loss, with the Red Dragons looking to build momentum ahead of the new campaign.
