Wrexham A.F.C. has secured a minority investment from Apollo Sports Capital, aligning with the club's long-term growth strategy and Premier League aspirations. The investment will provide financing for the STōK Cae Ras, helping advance the ongoing redevelopment of the stadium, including the new Kop Stand. The redevelopment is a key component of the larger Wrexham Gateway Project, a large-scale regeneration plan to support the city's connectivity and economic future. The Latham team was led by New York corporate partners Justin Rosenberg, Salvatore Vanchieri, and Tracey Zaccone, London sports partner Patrick Mitchell, and London corporate partner Hector Sants, with New York associates Matthew DeSilva and Afsheen (Sheen) Moaleman, and London associates Ryan Martin, Talal Fuad Abul, and Jarren Wei Shen Koh. Advice was also provided on real estate matters by London partner Quentin Gwyer and Chicago partner Robert Fernandez, with counsel James Beeson and associate Philip Charteris; on tax matters by Bay Area partner Katharine Moir, with associate Dennis Poehland; and on antitrust/regulatory matters by London/Brussels partner David Little, with associate Carlos Betoret. This deal follows Latham's recent involvement in many leading UK football investments, including in relation to Brentford FC, Rangers Football Club, Manchester United, Liverpool FC, and Chelsea Football Club.
