Wrexham A.F.C. manager Phil Parkinson has been backed by co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac to continue in his role for another season. The Red Dragons have enjoyed a meteoric rise under Parkinson's guidance, with three successive promotions and 270 games at the helm. However, doubts were raised early in the 2025-26 campaign about the tactical approach being favoured by the team. Any doubters were silenced in style, with Reynolds and Mac speaking of Parkinson having a 'job for life'. Ex-Wrexham striker Trundle has also expressed his support for Parkinson, stating that he deserves another full season to deliver on the Premier League dream. Trundle believes that Parkinson's experience and understanding of the game at different levels make him the right man to guide the club forward. Wrexham are currently 7th in the Championship, 24 points behind leaders Coventry, with 69 goals scored and 65 conceded this season.
