Wrexham A.F.C. striker Paul Mullin has left the club by mutual consent. Mullin became a cult hero with Wrexham fans and a favourite of Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
What happened?
Mullin scored 110 goals in 172 games in all competitions during his five years with the north Wales club. He was an integral part of the side which won the National League in 2023.
Why it matters for Wrexham A.F.C.?
Wrexham say there has been a "mutual termination" of Mullin's contract at Stok Cae Ras, which had been due to expire in 2027. Mullin's Wrexham journey ends with a legacy that will remain intact.
