Wrexham A.F.C. has confirmed the contract termination of striker Paul Mullin. The striker, who joined the club in 2021, scored 110 goals in 172 appearances.

What happened?

Mullin's departure was announced after a difficult 18 months, during which he found himself out of favour following surgery.

He spent the 2025-26 season away from the club, with stints at Wigan Athletic and Bradford City.

Tribute from co-owners

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney paid tribute to Mullin, with Reynolds saying: "Every day at Wrexham, on and off the pitch, Paul set the standard for courage, for tenacity, for humanity."

McElhenney added: "There are some people, very special people, who are out in front, blazing a trail of radiant light, excellence for the rest of us to follow."
