Striker Kieffer Moore then doubled the lead soon after the break with a powerful 20-yard strike. Phil Parkinson was pleased with his team's progress. "We won here last year, and that was a strong performance, but I think today was a performance of far more quality," the Wrexham manager told reporters. "It showed where the team has progressed to." With the transfer window now closed, the squad's focus is fully on the league campaign.
