Wrexham A.F.C. manager Phil Parkinson believes young striker Bailey Cadamarteri has a lot to offer the team this season. The 21-year-old Jamaican international has impressed in pre-season with his power and pace.

Bailey Cadamarteri joined Wrexham A.F.C. from Sheffield Wednesday in January, but opportunities were limited as the team challenged for a Championship play-off spot. He made just three substitute appearances in the league and often wasn't even on the bench as the campaign drew to a close.

However, it's been a different story in pre-season, with Phil Parkinson giving the 21-year-old a chance to impress playing as one of the two number 10s. Cadamarteri scored his first goal in a Wrexham A.F.C. shirt as the Reds beat Leeds United 3-2 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
What comes next?
Although used in a role supporting the lone striker, Parkinson says Cadamarteri has a lot to offer because he can still be used up top on his own. "I think Bailey gives us power and pace inside and he's such a strong lad, but he's technically good as well," said the Reds' boss.
